Pace Maker

In order to go forward, I must surrender to the direction and velocity. When my chest opens to reveal a soft and vulnerable center, I’m compelled to keep moving.

I was invited to realize a design and projection mapping within the extremely limited time frame of the Open Space NDT event. The artist’s vision was to create a dance performance with an accompanying projection of light streams emerging from the dancer’s body. The visual and musical elements were designed to complement the concept of a vulnerable, open heart at the core of the movement choreography.

My part of the work included designing and mapping the visualisation according to the visual inspiration and instructions given by artist. Realized with TouchDesigner and QLab software.
